Poetry  Soul  Train

8pm Friday 31st December 21
till 8pm Saturday 1st January 22

What is Poetry Soul Train?

Poetry Soul Train is a 24hr Twitterfest happening from 8pm on New Year's Eve through to 8pm on New Year's Day. The idea is to send words around the world celebrating being human and this wonderful planet we live on.

Can I get on board?

Yes, please! There's room on the train for everyone.

How do I hop on?

It's really easy. Just share poetry on Twitter during the 24hrs. This might be a snippet in a Tweet, a video of yourself reading/performing a poem, an image with words, or a link to a website. It can be your own poetry or someone else's. Share stuff as many times as you like in the time period. It'd be great if you could Like and Re-tweet too!

To help us keep track of the train, use the hashtag #PoetrySoulTrain and tag @soulsurvivalali and @Camerados_org.  If you're sharing the words of a living poet, tag them if you can!

Who's got this train going?

I'm Ali Davenport, a writer (amongst other things) from Manchester. Last December, I created Connection Fest with the support of the Camerados and wanted to do something again. If you like, you can send stuff to me in the run up and I'll share it for you during the event, tagging you in. Message me on Twitter or use the Contact page. Hope to see you on board!
